🌻About Me🌻
My name is Kayla Miles!
I am a stay at home mom, where I homeschool my son, and run/operate WWH out of our ranch in Perrin Tx. As an avid horsewoman, when I’m not in my office, I can be found out working horses. I train using horses of all shapes and sizes, but wild mustangs are where my heart lies. Besides training, I also rodeo several months out of the year as a trick and fancy rider with Ginger Duke- Professional Trick Rider and the Dynamite Dames Trick Riding. We love to share our love and passion for horsemanship, and the western ways of life. My husband and I both have a long history in nutrition, as well as a pretty athletic resume. We spent our youth competing in powerlifting and bodybuilding, and that love and passion for optimum nutrition and competition carried over into our equine lives as well. We are firm believers that proper nutrition is the key to peak performance, and our horses are not only good for our mental/emotional health, but to supplement our livelihoods as well. Anyone who has been in the equine industry knows just how expensive proper supplementation can be. I know first hand how expensive general wellness supplements can be, so it’s been a mission of mine to find a way to provide adequate nutrition, at an affordable price. I started on a journey to find out how to reduce the cost of supplementation, and to find natural sources of micro nutrients horses need to have as close to a complete and balanced diet as possible. I have spent the past few years furthering my education and understanding of the equine body, both inside and out. From my general understanding of biomechanics, to understanding the somewhat complicated internals, and discovering how they are all intertwined. Many nights of studying, research, and conversation with other equine professionals led me to the development of my (now) Equine Equalizer. I fed this to my personal horses for quite some time before our Equine Osteopath Heather Perillo with NHR PEMF Services asked "Why in the world aren't you selling this stuff?" She gave a few more nudges, and helped guide us to the point of public production. I often joke and say she bullied me into going live she was asking so much But in reality, she truly inspired me, encouraging my doubts on being able to make this into a full time, successful operation. By believing my my knowledge and abilities, almost more than I believed in myself. (If you don't have friend like that in your life, I suggest you get one!) That knowledge has not only improved my understanding of natural equine nutrition, but it has also drastically changed my understanding of training and horsemanship 10 fold. So fast forward through a ton trial by fire, blood sweat and tears: here we are 1 year later. Our first year in business has been an overwhelming success and we can't wait to see what the future has in store! |
